From above, the scarred land takes on a new aesthetic dimension: open wounds, deep grooves, and deposit stains form intense visual patterns. The colors, altered by human activity, blend metallic, ferruginous, and pale hues with scorched ochres and dense greys.
Textures shift abruptly—parched surfaces cracked like aged skin contrast with fine, dusty deposits shaped by the wind into gentle ripples. This aerial perspective confronts us with the transformative force of mining, while paradoxically revealing a kind of beauty in what has been changed.
